House Tours

Steeped in history, this unique house contains mementos of the family's history and travels - paintings, photograph albums, furniture, beautiful Indian and English silverware along with one of the finest private collections of clocks and watches in Britain outside those in the national museums.

The House is open from 2 April to 27 September 2026, on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

  • Guided tour at 11:00am

  • Self-guided visits from 1:00pm–3:30pm (last entry 3:00pm). Pre-booking available for 1:00–2:00pm and 2:00–3:00pm arrival slots.

Garden entry is included in the price of a house ticket. Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email, including your Booking Number, which you will need on the day of your visit.

Filming and photography is not permitted in the house.
